DEPARTMENT OF DERMATOLOGY

GENERAL INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Dermatology had informal beginning in 2019
The department runs regular out-patient excluding Sunday and indoor services for general patients and in-patient services and multiple Specialty clinics along with Community services, Consultation liaison services and Emergency services. . The clinical services offered by the department include :

  • Providing highest quality treatment and care to the patients presenting with skin, hair and nail disorders.
  • Evaluation of patients presenting with leprosy, its reactions and providing them treatment in collaboration with District Leprosy Center.
  • Counseling the leprosy patients presenting with disabilities.
  • Providing treatment for Sexually Transmitted Diseases and counseling them regarding safe sexual practices.
  • Providing aesthetic procedures for pigmentary disorders, scars, hair restoration.

  • To provide new standard of full- spectrum dermatological care  using the latest techniques  with an emphasis on patient care
  • To be a multi-speciality dermatology unit equipped with utmost advanced and latest technologies.

Our Mission

  • Provide high quality dermatologic care with compassion and professionalism.
  • To provide specialized medical and surgical care to patients with diseases of the skin, hair and nails.
  • Introduce, develop and refine the clinical skills necessary for dermatology residents to master the art and science of dermatology.
